Internet Acceptable Use Policy
Internet access is provided by Rosary High School to enhance
innovation in educational opportunities through access to unique resources and collaborative
projects. Linking with the Internet and computer networks throughout the world requires trust
in an atmosphere of minimal constraints. Every Internet user has the responsibility to respect and protect the rights of
every other user in our school and on the Internet. Anyone who uses these services is
expected to act in a responsible, ethical, moral, and legal manner.
All use of the Internet must be in support of education and research
consistent with the mission of Rosary High School. It is understood that any information taken from
the Internet and used for research projects must be cited (source acknowledged) in the same manner as
other information sources are listed in a research bibliography. Submission to turnitin.co is required for
research papers.
Rosary believes that the benefits to educators and students from open access
to the Internet far outweigh any disadvantages. Ultimately, parents and guardians are responsible
for setting the standards their children should follow. Whether at school or not, we ask that you keep
