| American Enterprise Speech Contest: All students: The Boeing Aerospace Leadership Chapter (BALC), affiliated with the National Management Association (NMA), is sponsoring its annual American Enterprise Speech Contest. The contest requires a four to six minute speech relating to the economic system of America, commonly referred to as the American Enterprise System. Local prizes are up to $500 for first place, with corresponding lesser amounts for second and third place. 22 | American Legion Oratorical Contest: All students: The American Legion National Oratorical contest will pay out over $21,000 to its national winner in cash and scholarships. The contestant must be prepared to speak for not less than 8 nor more than ten minutes on some aspect of the Constitution of the United States with emphasis on the duties and obligations of a citizen to our government. In addition, the contestant must be prepared to speak on each of the following topics from the United States Constitution for not more than 5 but not less than 3 minutes. 4 | Ninth Annual Holocaust Art and Writing Contest: All Students: The Ninth Annual Holocaust Art and Writing Contest is presented by Chapman University and the "1939" Club. Rosary is allowed to submit the work of three students, consisting of prose, poetry, or works of art which will be selected from entries received by Counseling. The first prize is $500 and the second prize is $250. Students selected will also be invited to the awards ceremony on Friday, March 7, 2008.
